Dr. Anthony Ea is a fellowship trained interventional cardiologist who specializes in coronary, endovascular and structural heart procedures. These include minimally invasive therapies like coronary artery stenting as well as treatment of valvular disease such as aortic and mitral valves without open heart surgery. He is also board-certified in General Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, and Internal Med.
He attended UC Davis for his Bachelor's Degree and Drexel University in Philadelphia for a Master's Degree. He earned his medical degree at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Henderson, Nevada before completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Franciscan Health in Olympia Fields, IL where he served as Chief Resident. He then went onto New Jersey to complete his fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at Thomas Jefferson University/Deborah Heart & Lung Center where he also served as Chief Interventional Fellow.
Dr. Ea is a Bay Area native and grew up in the Peninsula while attending St. Ignatius College Prep in the City. When he is not with his patients, he enjoys rediscovering all that life in the Bay Area has to offer including the wonderful dining scene and the outdoors with his family and their 2 dogs. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys watching the Giants, 49ers, and Warriors. Dr. Ea is looking forward to making life-long relationships with his patients and providing high quality cardiovascular care centralized around personal well-being. Dr. Ea is fluent both in English and Spanish.
